Leading Causes Of Homelessness
Homelessness has been an issue in ever era of American history. In modern day the federal government, state governments and individuals are trying to lower the homeless rate but they can only do so much. BBC's article, "Los Angeles: $100m plan to tackle homeless 'emergency'." demonstrates some of the leading causes of homelessness and how they are trying to create a plan to lower the rate drastically. Los Angeles has official declared that its growing number of the homeless population is an emergency; "An estimated 26,000 people live on the city's streets, 12% more than two years ago.
