COURSE
 INFORMATION
 

 
This
 course
 examines
 the
 constitutional
 backdrop
 to
 intellectual
 property,
 and
 then
 examines
 each
 type
 of
 
intellectual
 property,
 first
 as
 a
 basic
 overview,
 and
 then
 in
 detail.
 
 The
 course
 then
 looks
 at
 the
 interplay
 of
 
intellectual
 property
 and
 modern
 information
 technologies
 in
 the
 realms
 of
 software,
 music,
 internet,
 privacy.
 
 
The
 course
 also
 looks
 at
 anti-­‐
 competition
 and
 international
 treaties
 concerning
 intellectual
 property.

 OBJECTIVES
 

 
On

 students
 who
