As per our the correspondence with our Consultant Manger, Traci Goldman I would like to take the opportunity to review the Employment Law Compliance Plan that has been developed for Landslide Limousine Service. You have advised that you will be opening Landslide Limousine Service, a first class transportation operation in Austin, Texas. With the goal of employing up to 25 employees the first year of operations. Landslide Limos in Service annual net revenue for the first year is projected at $50,000 with the prediction that there will be a 5 % revenue growth over the following few years. With this information in mind we addressed employment laws to ensure that your operation will be on task. It is highly recommended that Landslide Limousine Service understand and follow the many employment laws and stay in compliance with. In the event that these employment laws are not followed by Landslide Limousine Services can lead to a number of consequences, including penalties and fines. The five employment laws are as follows: The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Sexual harassment in the workplace, The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA), The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), and The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA). The strategy is to follow the employment laws as this will ensure that Landslide limousine is creating a work environment that is fair and safe. Before recruiting the 25 new employees make reference to the mentioned employment laws. All hiring will be nondiscriminatory and wages will be set to start at the Austin, Texas minimum wage. Having a good understanding of the employment laws will be vital to operations....
