Laughing 100 times is equivalent to cycling for 15 minutes on your cycle. Energetic laughing increases heart rate depending on breathing rate, and bring into play muscles in the face, stomach, and diaphragm.

Apart from making us feel good and enhancing our mood, laughing can cut down our stress level, co-operate in fighting with various infection, and it also reduces pain.

Laughing brings some helpful changes in the chemistry of our brain, by delivering endorphins which leads to increase in oxygen level of our body including deeper inhalations.

Laughter is instinctive and contagious. When we are laughing, out laughter at that time is under very minimal conscious control, may be that’s why it is very difficult for us to control our laughter on various serious moments. It challenges hypothesis that we are in full control of our behavior.

An Italian author whose name was Pietro Aretino was laughing so hard at a funny story which was told to him by her sister than he fell backward from his chair and died because of ‘Laughing too much’.

Laughing develops some type of cells which attack viruses and some of the cancer and tumor cells.

So, Laugh as much as you can. The more you laugh the better you health will be.

Pre-school children laugh up to 400 times a day; adults laugh a mere 17 times a day. Fewer than 20 per cent of laugh episodes in the real world relate to humour. Laughter is 30 times less frequent in solitary situations than social ones. In the past week, 35 per cent of people have been tickled, and 40 per cent of people have tickled someone else. SMILE
