In my country education is nothing like the education in The United States, El Salvador, my home country, is one of the poorest countries in Central America, people come to the U.S to get a better education to help their people back home, and is not only El Salvador, so many other countries like Guatemala, Venezuela, Mexico and many other countries from Latin America come to the US to study and be a better person and get a decent education. What motivates me to study and to continue with my career is my family, because they didn’t go to school and I don’t want to get old and work in the same job for decades and do the same for the rest of my life. Another this that makes me disappointed and sad is when I see people that doesn’t know how to communicate in English, but at the same time it makes me mad because people needs to educate themselves, no one is going to tell you “Don’t go to school you don’t need that”, yes there is so many negative people outside in the world but education is an option, a personal
