To understand the present state of the nation’s parks, and ultimately their entire future, it is crucial to first look back at the past. The first national park was Yellowstone National Park. This sprawling park contains such amazing geological and biological sites that it had been considered a national park long before it was ever officially named one. Its combination of diverse wildlife, and geologic features such as, waterfalls, canyons, geysers, and hot springs made it obvious to any who had experienced it, that this was a place that should be preserved just the way it was. That was why in 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant made it officially the world’s first national park. The only problem being, it was a completely unique creation, the first of its kind. This means that all ground that they covered would be new.…

The expo tickets ranged from different prices. Of course the V.I.P ticket was the most expensive, the big thing about this ticket was that you were allowed to eat the wonderful smelling food. You could also get your hair and nails done. If you were fortunate enough to attend Tennessee State University (TSU) you only had to pay a $15 admission fee; whereas if you were apart the general public you had to pay a $20 admission fee. If you are a professional stylist you just had to pay a $35 admission fee. I purchased a general ticket, but I should’ve realized that I would need more money. Especially, with all of the different booths and venders that were there, they sure weren’t cheap.…

Visitors can view the falls from several different perspectives; a suspension bridge over the crest of the falls enables access to both sides of the park as well as breathtaking view. The second option would be the aerial tram that carries passengers between the base and the top of the falls. In the summer the park hosts an international fireworks competition with the falls as a backdrop. If you are intending to visit during the summer months, look out for the yellow glow that the falls…

Arches National Park is located in Moab, Utah. Not only does it have a wealth of geologic features to explore, but also a plethora of plants and animal life as well. The park offers numerous trails. The northern area of the park starts with the Devils Garden Trail and extends down to the Courtyard Tower region in the south. It doesn’t appear to be very fragmented, only slightly with the Klondike Bluffs veering off to the far left; otherwise it is easy to follow all the park’s attractions. There are adequate amount of campgrounds but I would add more restrooms and picnic areas. Arches doesn’t have any restaurants or lodges anywhere within the park and I would add a few to accommodate for those who do not wish to camp. In addition…
