Sightseeing in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a large city in Nevada and is situated in a desert where temperatures sometimes rise well above 104 degrees in summer. There are big resort hotels that line the famous “Strip” with their fountains, sparkling lights, and glamorous sites of cities around the globe that have been recreated.
The strip
The is a 2.5-mile section of the Las Vegas Boulevard, which runs across the city from the northeast to southwest. It is lined up with big entertainment palaces, thatare home to luxury hotel rooms, performance venues and fine dining. During the night time, the Strip is most impressive, as the city is lit up by successions of endless glittering neon signs.
