Landmark Events In Psychology

A landmark event that has occurred in my life was getting into college. For a Lifetime period there would be moments that I couldn’t fully remember. It consists of general knowledge of what has occurred during my time in college.In my classes that I have gone through in my 2 years of being a psychology major I have begun to see that some memories are accurate and some are schema. A schema is a concept that tells a person what to expect from certain situations. In different psychology classes which I have taken the professors have told the story of Pavlov's dog salivation experiment telling it either their way, leaving variables out or not telling the experiment the way that I recalled it in the first class I took which explained this. This would be a general event because it has been repeated a lot and is more specific than a lifetime period.
Psychology classes with the information which is given to you are basically schema's because they are designs which allow a person to develop a perspective on different situations. For example the different psychology classes which I took have been Biological, Language, Personality, Adolescent, and ect. All of of these classes have a different reason for why certain responses happen or why children grow up to be a certain way. The information which I have remembered is an accurate recollection. Even though I have taken different psychology classes I am able to remember what information goes which classes because psychology has different subsections which branch off even more. For example is Cognitive psychology you have the different subsections which help go into the field of cognitive psychology. Throughout my years at Salem State I have gone through experiences I have gone through different schemas. I have expected what happens in the university because I was prepared by RA’s so they have helped me understand
