Throughout the story, the struggles of the animals and how the farm changes are seen. The novel shows how important education is and how powerful language can be. In the novel, it shows how the animals’ lack of education lead to their despair, and how the intelligent pigs used language and rhetoric as their weapon to manipulate the animals. The Animal Farm became corrupt because the animals were uneducated and the pigs realized the power of language.

The pigs continuously manipulated them and made the animals believe that they were helping the farm and the animals.
