Labour
Good morning to every one I am Ananya Aravind from class vii and here to share my opinion about it is the labor that pays not luck.
Nowadays, some may hold the opinion that the successful people are also considered lucky, but other believes the opposite. When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.
If we depend only on luck for all our accomplishments, we are taking a great risk. Luck is something intangible and no one can guarantee that it would ever come your way. If it doesn't work, it would be a great disappointment. If we believe in luck, we would be clueless about where we are heading... Of course, sometimes we just get lucky by finding an easier way to achieve the goal, but how long can we push this luck? How many times will we be able to repeat this luck? When we accustom ourselves to difficult tasks, the kingdom of opportunities opens up in front of us, which is usually a forbidden land for others. The desire to accomplish something through hard work is like a key to a treasure chest. It doesn’t matter what exactly we are doing — by working hard we can reach the top in any field.
First of all, considering education as one of the most important key factors of success, it is nothing to do with luck, it’s just hard work. Even if someone qualifies for a good position at a company by luck, due to lacking knowledge, he will be asked to resign soon.
Secondly, there are also many uneducated persons who are successful in commercial areas. As the saying goes “The ladder of success is best climbed by stepping on the rungs of opportunity”. They are all determined persons, working for years to deserve that place .If Mahatma Gandhi and the other great leaders of our country had not worked hard for getting freedom for the country, then we might still be a slave. The great achievements by the great men are not hidden from anyone of us.
We are not a born CEO or investor or chess grandmaster. We will achieve greatness only

Oprah Winfrey once stated in an interview “luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity”. With that said, I do believe it is true. There are some instances that in the past if the opportunity and the preparation didn’t happen then the luck never would have happen. There are examples I would like to mention to show that if it wasn’t for the opportunity then the luck never would have.…

Whether success is by chance, is up to you to interpret what chance means. If chance means that the kids born earlier in the year were lucky enough to be born at that time, then yes, success comes by chance. The way I interpret is that success does not come from chance. Yes, these kids were born earlier in the year, therefore, were given a better chance. But through that chance, they were given better opportunities and the help from better piers to become successful. The question, “does success come from chance?” could really go either way. It is all about how you interpret the question. But when it comes down to it, you cannot become successful on your…

Hard work and perseverance make one's work successful. So there is no sense in deciding success by the factor of education. Every goal we list isn't just a dream, we will sacrifice everything in order to achieve it, and every obstacle we overcome, strengths our expectations in succeeding. Through every step, we question our luck, some of us fail and when they do, the only excuse they give is "bad luck". In my opinion, luck does exist but it won't play a huge roll in us if we worked hard enough.…

Luck is something that almost everyone experiences. To experience it more, however, one must work harder. According to the online dictionary, luck is a combination of circumstances, events, etc, operating by chance to bring good or ill to a person. Abraham Lincoln once said “The harder I work, the luckier I get.” There is a lot of truth in his statement. The better one prepares oneself for a task, the more likely luck will grace him. For example, in the most recent Summer Olympic Games, there were two races when Michael Phelps, known for the seven gold medals he collected in swimming, won by a total of nine hundredths of a second ' one race by just a hundredth. Some critics call it luck. Others even call it divine intervention. Logically speaking, it was the result of all the hard work he put into his preparation. His performance was not just a fruit of his hard work, but also a fruit of the environment in which he trained in. True, he is a very talented swimmer, but his skill was honed also because the environment where he trained. The training environment he and his teammates had was a luxury not available to most of his opponents. It is also a benefit of the economic success of his country.…

I would like to take two major aspects to discuss: hard working and high education qualification. I’m from Hong Kong, where it is very competitive. Earning a bachelor’s degree is the least you should to do to be able to get a decent life, it is not guaranteed though. In HK, we call the degree an “admission ticket,” as in a ticket to enter the trip to success. Without a ticket, do not even think of getting a decent job. HK is a wealthy and developed place, also everyone in the new generation has some kind of a university degree. You might think neglecting the ability of the person is not fare, too early to judge, but as a company, they will would not take the risk to hire someone who is incapable. A college degree is like an insurance to them, but there are no promises, the degree is the only piece of evidence to show them. So, once you have the ticket and got into the field you want to work in, now is the time to show your ability. How? You may ask, work hard. In HK, if you are a hard worker you at least would not need to worry about surviving. Moreover, if you are a lazy worker, people can tell. If you work hard and produce quality work, there will be a higher chance to get noticed and give you hand in the trip to success. These are all basic concepts that older generations have been telling me the whole life. They got through, why should not I trust…

I for one find myself disagreeing with Mr. Milton. As opposed to how it was hundreds of years ago, luck is a different concept in today’s time. Today, luck is a concept that can only be applied to the top one percent also known as the wealthiest people of America. People in the middle and working classes all work for the opportunities that they are given; luck has no determination on who gets what. In my personal experience, my family has had to work for everything that we own, and we have never seen “luck” in effect. I fully understand what Mr. Milton was trying to say, and he is not wrong entirely. Milton believed that when a plan is designed well enough luck comes out of the planning, and everything falls into place. However, not everything will fall perfectly into place every time. Things will fall through and fail, and you have no choice but to pick yourself back up and keep pushing through the obstacles. I have observed over the past couple of years that people have become too dependent on luck for results instead of working for them. This is a similar situation that my current classmates and I are going through currently. Too many of my classmates will depend on luck and chance to get them the same opportunities as someone with a college degree, despite not going to get one themselves. This is why I will get a Bachelor’s degree and…

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, luck is defined as good fortune, prosperity or success. Opportunity is defined as a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. Oprah Winfrey states, "Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity," as an inspirational tool for her audience to reach their goals by putting in the hard work. Opportunities in life are not just handed out but these chances are opened by the determination and drive that each individual puts forth instead of wishing on luck and chance that their goals will be reached.…

When you hear someone say “luck” what comes to mind? For me, I think of someone gambling, and the phrase they were lucky enough to win. Or someone who made that “lucky” basketball shot. That is what I think of when it comes to the word “luck”. I agree that when we prepare and work hard an opportunity will come where you can put all your hard work, preparations and dedication to practice. For example; those…

Pele once said, “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” To invent something, go to college, get a job, do well in school or sports, or be successful in any way, you must work hard to achieve whatever you have set your mind to. Nothing comes easy in life you either work for it or you don't get it, it could take an hour or it could take a year but in the end your hard work will pay off.…

As mentioned earlier, I feel that the measure of a well-educated person encompasses more than just an education or just an expertise in a certain subject area. There are many people who have gone through their required class schedule and graduated from an institution that are unable to complete elementary level tasks. There are also many individuals who have not been educated by an institution and are able to not only complete basic tasks but can complete higher level tasks quite well. The first individual had the opportunity and personal…
