Yes, La Oroya, Peru is the most polluted places in the world. Workers, who lived in La Oroya, built the factories nearby the Peruvian Andes for lead, coal and oil.

The operations with the lead smelter running in the town has caused the air covered with toxic. It is most likely effected by children, women and other family has been affected by lead poisoning.

    Lead poisoning has been a concern for many years. In fact, because of the affects of lead poisoning, there has been an extensive decline in its use.
