Kungung Fu Panda, And Kung Fu Panda 2 (KFP2)

Usually, a sequel to a movie that people love will never be good. One cannot forget those “unforgettable” moments where the first movie captures their attention. They often will say that nothing can and will never outdo that movie. However, Kung Fu Panda 2 (KFP2) was better than its predecessor, Kung Fu Panda 1. It was a sequel three years in the making, but it was sure worth the wait. The movie brings up the importance of inner-peace, learning to let go, and never giving up. KFP2 is the movie of the century for kids and adults of all ages. The first reason why people should watch it is because of the plot (storyline). The second reason why this is a “must watch” is because of the actors and actresses who voice these animated characters. Rather than just reading it off from the script, these actors and actresses bring the characters to life. This is very rare for animated movies. The last reason why people should watch this movie is because of the cinematography. The producers make the movie jumps off the screen and makes it feel like one is in the movie itself.
The first reason why this is a great movie is the plot. Po is now the Dragon Warrior. He must now take on the responsibility of protecting the animals of China. When a village was raided by wolf bandits for its metals, the Dragon Warrior and The Furious Five must stop them. While fighting the leader of the pack, Boss Wolf, an image appeared in Po’s mind. The image was of a dark red sun. Then he saw flashbacks of his mom leaving him. Stunned by what had occurred, he ran back to his dad, Mr.Ping, who was a goose. In the scene, his family lived on top of a mountain. Everything about this scene screamed peaceful because of the calm green background. Little Po climbed down the stairs from a realistic-looking bamboo house and went outside. He looked so young and happy. There were pandas flying kites all around him, all laughing and smiling. The scenery was breathtaking to say the least. But fast forward to the next scene, things turned for the worst real fast. This scene was all about Lord Shen and the wolf bandits killing all of the pandas. In this scene, one can feel the mood and tension shift. The village suddenly became all dark and there were fire everywhere. Dark wolves with white eyes running all around the village to kill pandas. In the background, Lord Shen was standing in the darkness screaming “Get Them!” All of us could feel his red eyes staring into our souls. One could feel the anger and hatred that he carry all of those years. I was very impressed with how the producers can make the scene happy one moment, and then dark and gloomy the
