The daughter is a college student and will be entering her senior year at college. The senior year curriculum is on business planning and required to complete a major project. Kudler will ask the daughter if the project can be on analysis and strategic plans of Kudler stores. Kudler will pay the daughter for her efforts. Corporate Memo TECHNICAL WRITING FUNDAMENTALS ENG 221 Corporate Memo Based on the memo for Kudler Fine Foods, a new point of sale system is being implemented into the company’s three retail locations. The organization of the memo is decent at best. The memo is not very detailed or clear on all the expectations from corporate. The sentence structure itself is also lacking clarity, making it hard to fully understand. “While the vendor has training materials and will train our trainer, we need to determine the best way to train the cashiers in the three stores, the management team in each store and the computer support specialists.” This sentence alone is very confusing, who is doing the training? Is there going to be a class at each location or all in one location? What type of training is being recommended by corporate, it seems they are leaving the training in the hands of each store.…

Some of Kudler’s ways Kudler makes this possible is by the expertise that is given with the gourmet setting at all the locations from the wine to the cheeses and other fine foods. Kudler went over and beyond to make sure the expertise was carried out by the use of the surveys they had customers and visitors to complete in 2010 and 2011. According to these surveys, Kudler showed strengths and weakness that they hold above the competitors are the outstanding customer relations and the enormous selection of the world’s best fine foods. The gourmet food was satisfactory for the money that was spent and appreciated by the majority of their customers.
