Omega-3 Krill Oil
Omega-3 fatty acids refer to a set of polyunsaturated fatty acids that include docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which is found in fish; alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is obtained from plants and Krill oil. Unlike the concentration in the level of fats in foods such as meat and butter that can increase the levels of unhealthy cholesterol, these fats are healthy because they help the human body to lower levels of unhealthy cholesterols as well as reducing the inflammation in the body (Allport 12). MegaRed Omega-3 Krill oil has a great, active ingredient omega-3 that is usually necessary for every meal. Unlike fist oil, the Omega-3 fatty acids in MegaRed Krill Oil are carried to your body’s cells in phospholipid form making them easily absorbable. For an individual to have a balanced quantity of krill oil or food that provides the oil, they should take at least two to three spoons or have a piece of the food on a plate during a meal. The foods that contain krill oil include shrimplike, tiny animals such as mantas, Baleen, and whale sharks that basically eat krill at the bottom of the sea. This supplement contain 100% pure Antarctic Krill. The dosage that would be consumed from the processed krill oil is about one to three tablets a day depending on strength. For the Schiff MegaRed Omega-3 Krill Oil 500mg, it is recommended to take one softgel per day.

The target audience for the utilization of krill oil are the people who have symptoms of Arthritis. This is because krill oil has been found to reduce the pain, loss of functions, stiffness, and inflammation in those suffering from arthritis. This has been studied and by the release of C-reactive protein the inflammation in people suffering from arthritis is reduced. Another target audience is the heart disease patient as the oil can help reduce the level of blood fat known as triglycerides, high blood pressure and high cholesterol (Allport 17). The oil can also help the following diseases and conditions; cancer, stroke, premenstrual syndrome, depression, osteoarthritis and painful menstrual periods. The patient is given hope and reassurance to overcome the stressing situation. The thought process should be linear and logical; thoughts display goal direction. According to the health or structure and or function claims made on the label, there are some side effects that come with the use of this oil. These effects include reduction in stress; it has been noted that the intake of the drugs has 56% reduction of stress; it is also secondary to increasing breast tenderness because it reduces the symptoms of breast hardening. It reduces the level of cholesterols, which in the long run promote a healthier life. However, there are some negative effects that are found from the use of these supplements (Allport 28). These negative effects include; increase in appetite, whereby a person feels like eating at all times. Another effect is the fact that they are addictive, once a person starts using them; the individual will ever be craving to have a supplement. The use of Mega Red Omega-3 Krill Oil has been on the rise for the past years. This has been because there are a lot of valid claims of its health implications. The claim relates to the target audience and the amount contained in one serving of the supplement. The supplements assist people in gaining better health and living a healthier way. From the studies that have been conducted on the krill oil, it has been revealed that the oil has more positive effects than the negative ones. According to a study done at the University Oxford, it says that the fish oil affects pregnant women, but pregnant women can use krill oil as the supplement because they are rich in Omega-3 oil (Clover 23).
