About kotak Mahindra bank
Kotak Mahindra Bank is an Indian financial service firm established in 1985. It was previously known as Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited, a non-banking financial company. In February 2003, Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd, the group's flagship company was given the license to carry on banking business by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. is the first company in the Indian banking history to convert to a bank.
The consolidated net worth of the group stands at Rs 14,568 cr as on December 31, 2012. The group offers a wide range of financial services that encompasses every sphere of life. From commercial banking, the group caters to the diverse financial needs of individuals and the corporate sector. The group has a wide distribution network through branches and franchisees across india, and international offices in Abu dubai, Bahrain, California, Dubai, London, Maruitius, New York and Singapore.
