Legends are Forever Future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant is third in best-selling jerseys as of the 2015-2016 NBA season. Kobe Bryant is currently the franchise leading scorer of the Los Angeles Lakers and holds several records as a Laker. He was drafted by the Hornets organization back in 1996 and subsequently traded to the Lakers. Kobe Bryant revolutionized the game of basketball with his specialized shoes and superior play style. Kobe Bryant’s work ethic is second-to-none and is a mold for other basketball players. Since then, Kobe Bryant’s shoe line has been popular and top-selling next to Michael Jordan’s signature Jordan. “The Nike Zoom Kobe 1 made its debut and has been one of the most popular signature shoe lines since then” (Treutel). His shoes are worn by many people and became more and more popular every year. Kobe Bryant’s shoe line changed how other shoes were created with the FlyKnit technology. “It’s a constant reminder of where I came from. From that night after I hurt myself and I expressed my anger in my FaceBook rant to the state I’m in now” (Bryant qtd in “Kobe, Unveil Shoes”). After Kobe Bryant injured his Achilles heel, he designed a shoe to remember the hard work he put in to get back to where he is today. His injury has helped shoe designers advance their technology to protect the ankle and other foot parts. Kobe Bryant was a revolutionary figure in basketball with his greater play style and shoe brand. Kobe Bryant was born with a special work ethic that aided him in becoming an NBA legend, his ability to score was far superior to others and his shoes are popular worldwide.     Following Michael Jordans footsteps again, Rose became the first NBA all-star on the Bulls since Jordan was named an all-star in 1998. Rose’s third season could be considered his most successful, one of his best games was on January 17 2011.
