2.1. Problem Statement
Knowledge is to be transferred efficiently for the transfer of the process or project in offshore. Following are the four main aspects that focus on the transfer of Knowledge efficiently such as People, Time, Mission critical targets and Scope/roles [16]. These are the main challenges of efficient knowledge transfer. Success of the offshore software development highly dependent on these issues. Such as shown in the diagram

According to cognitive load theory, learning will boost the expertise through acquiring knowledge or automating schema [26]. Cognitive load theory explains the learning process through engaging the learner in the authentic tasks. The tasks are manageable for the learner and learner are motivated in constructing the schema [26][38]. The processing capacity indicate by the learner’s expertise reduce when the complexity of the task increase. Strategies to reduce cognitive load are necessary which include the supportive information and specification [38]. Supportive information, activities such as informal specification, formal presentations, and document study help the learning engineer to gain schemas that relate to no recurrent aspects of the tasks. Specification reduces the decision that the learner engineer needs to make for engaging in a task by partially or fully show the solution of the problem. Information technology environment is completely inventories. Because enterprise application is complex system. All information about platform, related application software, tool and database entries should be documented. That requires hardware and software configuration.
2.5.2 Expertise:
Indentifying the skill individual for appropriate job such as who are the people assign hardware and software configuration task and who are the domain expert that provide the domain knowledge of the business process. Knowledge transfer process required key player who has the ability to under the application environment and best practices use to show the client’s needs.
2.5.3 Training :
Training process improves the skill and understanding of the ongoing project. For a newly hire employee training is very essential as it helps to improve the understanding of the current software project. Each individual of the team member access client system only when he/she complete the training period. Scope/role challenges overcome through different mode of training such as Web base training (WBT), Instruction lead training (ILT), Mentoring with involve with shadowing, Reverse shadow[16]. Training of newly hire employees boosts their confidence and develop better understanding of their role. Training is also required by the client on how to utilize the development
