Abstract
Implementation of KM in Universities is very important because universities are the main source of preparing, transfer and developing the human skills form lecturer to students.
To Enhance Performance of universities by using KM must addressing Difficulties of accessibility to individual's thoughts. Human Experiences and Thoughts represent a major challenge in the retrieval and storage because tacit knowledge of people is often hidden in the mind and not recorded properly (tacit knowledge is difficult to capture).
Survey was conducted on the staff and student to see how they will accept the implementation of KM at the Institute, and to see the success and the failure factors and trying to find solutions to the failure factors, and

Nowadays it seems clear that the rate of generation of new knowledge in the world is accelerating.
Knowledge management become most powerful factor in the universities success, the growth of knowledge resources is one from the most important challenges of knowledge management inside Institutions. The large volume of knowledge required careful management of knowledge to share the most efficient knowledge that deal with working strategies and activities.
Knowledge management became very important because it's systematic management of an organization's knowledge assets for creating value and meeting tactical & strategic requirements. It consists of the initiatives, processes, strategies, and systems that sustain and enhance the storage, assessment, sharing, refinement, and creation of knowledge. Each enterprise should define knowledge management in terms of its own business objectives.

The solution for Enhancing Performance of Higher Educational Institutions is developing Knowledge base which the knowledge experts convey their tacit knowledge by expressing their beliefs and perceptions, and by describing and demonstrating their skills and experience.
All staff and students should be active in knowledge sharing. Each individual in the institute must have responsibility to create new knowledge and transfer it into organizational knowledge.
The accurate knowledge leads to maximize the benefits of performance for institutions staff and students.
However, the KM implementation may fail or may not be efficient due to weakness of the KM implementations success factors in high educational environment such as IT infrastructures and organizational culture.
