What is the meaning of CEPA Math.?
From 2006 CEPA-Maths has been used to make decisions about placement into maths courses at UAEU, HCT and ZU. CEPA-maths is a compulsory requirement for NAPO applicants.
The CEPA-Maths test lasts for 90 minutes and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. An approved calculator is supplied to each student for use during the test. The test is bilingual, that is, all questions appear in both English and Arabic.
The test assesses maths proficiency in four major areas of knowledge:

Number sense, patterns and relationships

Data analysis and probability

Geometry and measurement

Algebra

Within each of these knowledge areas, there are three levels of questions:
Basic
These represent the lowest level of expected understanding and proficiency. Questions in this category rely heavily on recall and recognition of concepts.
Proficient
These represent an acceptable or reasonable level of understanding of the knowledge area.
The items typically require students to solve problems involving one step, or to perform a basic procedure. Advanced
These require in-depth understanding of concepts and require students to possess an advanced level of proficiency in the knowledge area.

Arthur Miller writes about the tragic results of human failings in his play, The Crucible. He presents characters from the past and infuses them with renewed vitality and color. Miller demonstrates the horrifying results of succumbing to personal motives and flaws as he writes the painful story of the Salem witch trials. Not only do the trials stem from human failings but also from neglect of moral and religious considerations of that time. Characters begin to overlook Puritan values of thrift and hope for salvation. Focusing on the flawed characters, they begin to exhibit land lust, envy of the miserable and self-preservation.…

Comparing my very first team meeting with my group to the latest one I had, I believe that my team has improved with each passing meeting. I did not know anyone in the group that I was going to be working with. However, in the first team meeting in the classroom when we had to introduce ourselves and set ground rules, I made several halo effect decisions when I met them. Decisions made during halo effect are those that you make based on the first impression that you have when you first meet a person. I assumed that Christopher would want to be in-charge of the group, which is a good thing. I assumed Moritz would be shy and not make many suggestions during team meetings. I also assumed that Mark would be the student that is unsure of whether his ideas will be of significance or not. My assumptions about Nicole were that she would disagree with most of the member’s opinions.…
