Course Description
This course introduces you to a multiple perspective approach to understanding contemporary organisations. You will investigate contemporary debates in organisational theory and apply theoretical perspectives to contemporary case studies. You will analyse the way that different theoretical perspectives provide insight into the structure, culture and power relations within organisations. You will examine how organisations interact with their environment in a globalised world and explore sustainable and ethical ways of building organisational effectiveness.

Identify, understand and interpret a range of organisational theories and concepts that contribute to the management of contemporary organisations
