I’m elated to take another course with you. It’s so funny that you are employed by McKesson as my employer receives an array of medical supplies and equipment from this company. The medical supplies and equipment help providers deliver exceptional patient care. However, there have been issues with cost of equipment not specifically with McKesson but in general. Most Medicaid and Medicare insurance providers refuse to reimburse providers for procedures. Medical providers now have to find ways to use this equipment, provide needed service to patients, with minimum insurance reimbursement. Every human resource department is vital to each organization. I do not believe I can leave a legacy as great as GEN Davis but I would like to influence the lives of a few people. I would like my family and friends to view me as someone who was always there for them in their time of need. Despite being silenced at West Point, GEN Davis reestablished contact with many of his classmates, years later. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. I want people to remember me as someone they could confide in. Additionally, I would like my subordinates and superiors see me as someone who valued loyalty. Despite mistreatment, GEN Davis was always loyal to the U.S. and to the U.S. armed services. He showed unwavering loyalty to his subordinates. I wish to leave the same legacy. Lastly, like GEN Davis, I would like my peers to see me as a patriot who was honest about the flaws of this country, but loved it nevertheless. GEN Davis was never shy about calling attention to the racism and bigotry demonstrated by many U.S. citizens. Despite this, he served his country proudly, because he believed in the nations stated…

Pioneer Petroleum Corporation (PPC) has two major problems that are interfering with the goal of the firm to maximize shareholder wealth. The first is that PPC has been calculating their weighted average cost of capital incorrectly, by incorrectly calculating their after tax cost of debt and their cost of equity. This miscalculation has subjected PPC to more risk and has hurt the company’s ability to make appropriate investment decisions. This has also led PPC to accepting investment decisions that should not have been included within their acceptable range. Second, PPC has been using a single company-wide rate for their multi-divisional company. In either instance the company is not maximizing wealth.…
