King's Canyon

The Garden of Eden Waterhole

The Kings Canyon is a marvellous place to be. When we were there we did the Canyon walk which starts with ‘heart attack hill.’ It had a steep incline but when you were on the top the rest of the walk was relatively easy.

The steep sandstone cliffs of the canyon are 270m high and from the top we could see the lush trees and greenery and waterholes at the bottom. We also did the “Garden of Eden” walk at the bottom of the canyon, where we swam in the cold water hole which was next to those towering rocks down hovering over our heads.
