“Yeahhhh,” part of the room shouted in agreeance with their King.
“What I have to reveal, must be heard. The written word could never do it justice,” Gabriel counters and proclaims. “I did not call you here to tell you personally about their deaths. I called the lands to announce, we found the murderer.”

“What did you see,” the King quickly asks Gawin with the rest of his council, leaning in to hear.
“I cannot explain what I saw,” he says, eyeing Michal.
The nobles on both sides are aggravated with King David for not sharing what his Royal Seeker has seen; making some believe the accusation must be true.

He sinks his fingers further. His facial expressing changing instantly with streams of tears rolling down his cheek. He breaks free from his connection and utters, “No more. "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). In James Baldwin's novel, Go Tell it on the Mountain, "Gabriel's Prayer" shows the reader how Gabriel's ultimate sin keeps him from salvation. Gabriel's ultimate sin is not adultery, but it is how he cannot except his sins and repent for them because he holds everyone else around him accountable for what he's done. Feelings of foreboding flooded his senses as the hair on the back of his neck stood out. Someone had listened to his conversation, and was residing in the shadows of his room. How had he not sensed this before? “Whoever is here, step forward. Do so quickly or face my wrath.” A tall, muscular man stepped forward. A knight, he surmised, wearing jade colored armor with a coat of arms on his chest plate that he did not recognize, figures of two fighting dragons adorned his gauntlets, and in his hands, he threateningly…

“Let you not mistake your duty as I mistook my own. I came into this village like a bridegroom to his beloved, bearing gifts of high religion; the very crowns of holy law I brought, and what I touched with my bright confidence, it died; and where I turned the eye of my great faith, blood flowed up. Beware, Goody Proctor - cleave to no faith when faith brings blood. It is mistaken law that leads you to sacrifice. Life, woman, life is God's most precious gift; no principle, however glorious, may justify the taking of it. I beg you, woman, prevail upon your husband to confess. Let him give his lie. Quail not before God's judgement in this, for it may well be God damns a liar less than he that throws his life away for pride. Will you plead with him? I cannot think he will listen to another.”…

The sound of the grandfather clock coincides with fast beats of my jealous heart, as I picture a life without my dearest brother, King Hamlet. I have not yet thought of a more enjoyable life than that of my brother. As he walks into a room, everyone’s mouths drop in awe as his jewelry and crown glisten as the sun does on a summer day. His demeanor earns respect and loyalty from all his citizens and colleagues. But what I am most envious of, is his wife, Queen Gertrude. She possesses angelic beauty with her blonde braids and crystal, blue eyes. This jealousy led to my realization that I can too live a life of King Hamlet if I just ended his life. Chills run down my spine as I begin to plan this genius, yet secret murder. I grin as the details…
