Asian Legend provides very excellent meal and personal service compare to other restaurants in Chinatown. There were approximately 30 customers in the restaurant, however, only 4 waiters were in charge during the time we visited. The service we received was marvelous. The servers first started up by introducing the types of tea that will be served, including Jasmine, Oolong and Pu Er, and the tea will be served based on customer’s preference. Most importantly, the servers was very patient and clear on explaining the menu to customers that are not familiar with Chinese cuisine. In a global city such as London, one might expect to find a variety of people from many distinct cultures and backgrounds. The extent to which this is true, however, can only be realized when immersed in the sights and sounds of multiculturalism for the first time. This is something I personally hope to encounter in December, but experienced from the perspective of a young Nigerian girl in Little Bee, by Chris Cleave, this awareness is magnified and even takes on a life of its own. Culture is a huge aspect of this novel, and the issues that accompany it, along with other themes, create a world revolving not only around immigration and cross-cultural differences, but love and the length to which one family will go to save a girl who was once just another victim of an African oil war.…

They are “commonly found in hollow trees, rotting logs and wood and rock piles” (A). Africanized honeybees are very aggressive and have been known to sting intruders up to 50 feet away from their hive and continue to chase the intruder for up to a mile. Most bees only attack with 10-20 bees but Africanized Honey Bees swarm with hundreds of bees. Their aggressiveness gives them the nickname “Killer Bees”.…

At this site, the people come together each year to let go of one's hatred, anger and past transgressions. They do so by, making a container made with banana leaves or bread, placing some kind food dish in it, lighting a candle, sometimes placing a small coin and then setting it in to the river as to pay respects to the water spirits and Buddha. At this gathering, one can see lights floating on the waters, lantern lights in the sky; literally lights hanging from anywhere that is applicable. Seeing all of the beautiful lush vegetation in photos, the restaurant has strategically placed various tropical palm trees within to give that feel of freshness. As if one was indulging in fine cookery basking in the sunlight and fresh breeze on the Phi Phi Islands. Everything is set up to give the average person an authentic feel of Thailand to go with the authentic Thai formula. Brought by the kindest wait staff, even the menu itself includes both English and Thai or rather Siamese wordings. The people working are so pleasant and fluent in English, they would not be offended if one did try to order in their native tongue. Personally, I've never once tried to pronounce anything off of the menu, mainly I do not want to be disrespectful and I have no knowledge of how it should…
