Kids Should Not Force Kids To Do
I disagree, because people should not force kids to do something they do not like doing; not all kids are the same, some of them like playing sports, others can like singing or dancing. There are a lot of options kids can pick they want they want to do other than play instruments. First of all, many students need to stay in class as it say in source three paragraph two, they need to work on their reading, writing, and math skills. Why? because some kids could use the help they need, probably some have problems learning to read or write and also not understand math. If a child play instruments then it requires a lot of practicing at home and it takes up time from students to study more at home as it says in paragraph two source three. Kids should

    8th Grade Analysis

I believe that we should not have it after 8th grade like really come on. I think that we have had enough of this stuff. In my homeroom class we don’t do them much because he thinks they are stupid and we know better than what they are saying in the book. We have books that we have to learn about. Lots of kids don’t like doing them because they have no impact on our life. We have impact on our lives we make our own dissections. We control our own life’s not the book or the people that made them. This school would have more money if they didn’t spend money on those books. We wouldn’t have to pay $5 for our dances that we have. The prices of drinks and foods at our dances would not be that much if the books were not here. They could start thinking about stuff that we don’t need like the books and save the school money because they are always complaining on how much money they have when they don’t have…

“School should be about learning, not sports”. Kids now a days love to play sports, but don’t like to learn. Learning, and get an education this is a very important thing in life you need it to have a good job so that you can have a family and support them. So I feel in school you must have good grades in order to play any type of sport, and if you do not then you should not be playing. A couple reasons I feel like this is for starters kids pay more attention to sports then they do in class. This is not how this should be. Kids should love to learn something new every day at school, but in some school that’s not the case. Kids need to learn.…

Kids across America all compete in many different kinds of sports. Whether it be soccer, baseball, football, hockey, basketball, track, and many more. From what I have been taught in school, only the winner and second and third would usually receive medals for their accomplishments and success in their certain sport. While I am still encouraging kids to play sports and be active and fit, people should not be rewarding kids for just participating in a sport or even getting last place.…

"Music is a magical gift we must nourish and cultivate in our children, especially now as scientific evidence proves that an education in the arts makes better math and science students, enhances spatial intelligence in newborns, and let's not forget that the arts are a compelling solution to teen violence, certainly not the cause of it!"…

Sports have been helping children to become healthy and fit, but for years athletics have been taking children's eyes away from reaching their educational goal. For example, the colleges keep increasing for a number of test failures each school has. It is to show that schools have better high school graduation rates without sports. Therefore, sports should not be allowed at school to save districts money, and improve students, grades.…

See if schools ban sports, some kids won’t find a good reason to come to school. Kids won’t want to come school because it will only be the same subjects they have learned for the past ten years. I’m pretty sure that kids will want to have something fun to do at school so that they would come to school, do their work, and get to sports practice. I believe in this because I didn’t really want to do anything when I wasn’t playing in a sport for school. At some schools, you have to have good grades to play in a sport, that the kind of school that I go to. That rule made me keep my grades up because, I wanted to continue to play a sport. So my point here is that,…

Some people think that music education should be taken out of schools; It wastes time and money. This way of speaking is understandable because the cost of instruments are not very cheap. The process of learning music and the new instrument takes time to learn and practice. The instruments themselves are enjoyable, but a child’s interest and enthusiasm about a school related class is to be recognized and saved from being lost. Also, music is a path for students to take in the education field that isn’t a standard, and music programs help ten percent of students complete advanced classes when exposed to schooling with arts involved (Walker). That statistic shows that music can help a student achieve high standards. The interests in an arts filled…

The last bell rings and kids run out of their classroom for the last time that year. Most of them are going to spend the summer outside, traveling and having a great time with their family and friends. But some kids from other schools are going to be staying in school spending the warm sunny summer days indoors learning, and that's because they attend a year around school. All schools should stay on a normal schedule because year around school affects the relaxation of the student, quality time a child can spend with their family and because year around schools have not shown improvement in the student's test results.…

Lately it seems that everywhere schools have been cutting their music programs because of low budgets. In my opinion, cutting the music programs in schools is the wrong thing to do. I believe that all students should have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument or to practice their vocal skills. First of all, music programs are not just fun and educational, they are also very beneficial for success in school. Secondly, music programs in schools are beneficial for success in developing intelligence. Most importantly, music programs are very important and beneficial for success in life. Some people might say that music programs are just a waste of the school budget; I believe that there isn’t a better way for schools to use their money than on music programs.…

School can be viewed as an extremely boring place to spend most of the day. Plain colors of paint cover the walls and the only sounds students and staff hear are the talk of other students and teacher lectures. The only imagination and color that comes out of schools are from the band rooms, art rooms, and the stages. With these classes and extracurricular activities students can not only express themselves, but music can flow down the hallways freely and art can cover the walls and bring a little color and joy to the school. Lately, some schools plan or already have taken away the arts programs from the schools and its students. Schools lose more money every year as budgets become lower. Many school districts have already decided that taking away these programs would help save money. The music and music programs should absolutely not be cut from schools because many jobs could be impacted or even lost. Students need to be able to have creativity in their lives and should be able to express themselves. These programs are also essential for students going into college to…

    Why I Hate Music Essay

However, although music is present everywhere in society and has proven to be valuable in more than one way, schools proceed to cut music programs first due to budget cuts and the higher cost of non-core classes per student. Prior to budget cuts, from 1999-2000 and 2009-2010, 94% of schools had music programs. However, starting from next year many elementary schools will not have a music class. When dealing with budget cuts, schools unfortunately put better scores on standardized testing over music programs, mistakenly or selfishly thinking the latter is more profitable. In reality, music education develops important lifelong traits necessary for being successful in life and provides both enriching and recreation opportunities. In keeping music education, it would not only benefit the student as a whole but also the school and the world as a result. The things gained from music will far more impact the lives of students rather than a good test score, which promotes limited thinking and is impractical to use in the real world. Although music programs cost slightly more, the benefits outweigh the…
