kids grow up in large cities
Could you imagine raising your children in a place where there are rare job opportunities, a lack of social activities and education? Living in a big city would be better than living in countryside due to the fact that all of these facilities would be readily available.

Basically, people in the city work in different kinds of jobs, while in the countryside there aren’t often a variety of job opportunities. People in the city work at all different types and levels of professions, as well as in factories, in service jobs, and more. Children growing up in the city learn that there is a wide range of jobs they can choose from when they grow up. They have a greater possibility of choosing a career that they will enjoy and do well in. This is perhaps the most important thing before beginning with their education.

Meanwhile, the big cities can also offer a variety of entertainment range from cinemas, theatres, concerts, and clubs to entertaining parks, and so on. Many people like spending their free time in the facilities because it helps them to relax and bring them a lot of pleasure. Moreover, in the city children can attend cultural events every weekend, or even more often. This is also an important point for their self-confidence.

Last but not least, living in a big city almost guarantees children a better chance of receiving a better education than in the countryside. In most countries, it is no doubt that level of education in the city is higher than that of the in country are. It only stands to reason that more populated areas are equipped with more schools and facilities such as large libraries, museums, sport facilities, and other educational establishments that can assist children in their overall education. Besides, parents can choose the school to send their children based upon their own set of interests and special needs or abilities of the children.

In brief, it is generally believed that it is better for children to be brought up in the city not only because it can socialize them, but also because they can receive better education and have a better chance to get a suitable job

Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitan city where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek. In my opinion, the nature of urban and rural life style and the effect it has on people is the most important difference between living in the city and living in the country. I feel fortunate to have grown up in the rural area. I would never trade my memories of playing in the creek, riding four wheelers, or climbing trees all within a short walk from my house. Health, education, and transportation are three major concerns that need to be considered. While city life can bring more opportunities in these cases, country life can provide the best of both worlds.…

It is a well-known fact that the world is becoming increasingly urbanized. In almost every country in the world the trend has been for more and more people to move from small towns to larger cities. Although there are certain aspects of living in small town that I would appreciate such as clean air and less noise, however the urbanizing trend pretty much reflects my own preference for living in a big city rather than in a small town, because in my opinion the place one lives in plays more important role in one’s life in terms of wider range of opportunities. I think the education and career opportunities are the most prominent among them.…

Urban areas are a lot better to grow up in compared to rural areas because of street smarts and many other socialistic endeavors. One of the benefits of living in an urban area is you get smarter when on the streets dealing with the types of people that you wouldn’t otherwise see in the country. There are the homeless, muggers, dealers, people that you will know how to avoid instead of getting drawn into them or being tricked into doing stupid things for them. You might just see them as a normal person if you moved in from the country in to a big city. You would probably learn over a great deal of time the difference between them and your average person. Really, you might not understand all that could happen in the streets.…

The opinions of city dwellers about people lining in the countryside are like two sides of a coin. Some may think that the countryside is romantic and peaceful; others may consider that it is just muddy fields and nothing else. Although the countryside has lush green landscaping, quaint houses and people who have the time to wish you “Good day” if you walk buy; it is far from conveniences like Supermarkets, movie theaters, libraries and other modes of entertainment, that it is very difficult to appreciate the beauty. The basic disadvantage is the compulsory need of a vehicle to take you from one place to another. In the city public transportation is an easy and cheap alternative. It is difficult to see the stars, or feel the wind on ones face, or meditate in the quiet when you are living in the city. Country people have their own land, their own house where they can grow their own food in the garden, instead of being dependent upon the produce section of the nearest supermarket or being cramped into a 300 Sq. Ft apartment with no privacy. Cities are polluted due to car and factory emissions and the honking of horns and noise could lead to sleepless nights. Some people consider the fact that as the cities are so densely populated, there is always an availability of housing for any budget type. It is surprising to know that it does cost a lot to live in the country too. Living expenses tend to be more in the country. Due to less population and less of a demand for products the stores have less of a stock so they charge more to cover the demand. Plus you have to build your own house and take care of the maintenance, repairs if any. Sometimes, the rural areas are also polluted due to farm chemicals. Educational and recreational facilities tend to be better in the cities than country side. Job opportunities in big cities are better as companies want to be in the heart of the downtown of cities, so the spending capacity…
