Kerby Anderson's Seven Ways Of Performing An Abortion
There are several ways to perform an abortion. Kerby Anderson lists seven ways to perform an abortion. The first procedure is called the Dilation and Curettage (D &C) procedure. This procedures involves the physician dilating the cervix in order for a curette to be inserted into the womb. The curette is used to scrape the placenta from the uterus and cut the baby apart. The second procedure is the Suction Aspiration procedure. This procedures includes the dilation of the cervix in order to insert a tube into the womb. The tube suctions the baby from the uterus. According to Anderson this procedure is used “80% of the times in abortion up to 12 weeks” (Anderson, 2005, 39). The third procedure is a Saline injection. This procedure is also known
