Karate Kid 3 Quotes
In the movie, Karate Kid 3, the ostracized villain John Kreese attempts to gain revenge on Daniel and Miyagi, with the help of a Vietnam War comrade, Terry Silver, the wealthy owner of a toxic waste disposal business. Marxists take a critical view of the role of education. Capitalist society is essentially a two-class system, with a ruling class exploiting the working class. Marxist see education as being run in the interests if the ruling class. For example, Althusser argues that education is an important ideological state apparatus that helps to control people’s ideas and beliefs. He suggests education has to purposes. It reproduces class inequalities through the generations by ensuring that most working-class pupils experience education failure. Education also legitimates this inequality, persuading the working class to accept educational and social inequalities. Other Marxists have also pointed to the existence of a hidden curriculum in schools.…

A hero is often defined as someone that demonstrates courage, performs brave deeds, and displays noble qualities. Personally, I think that this definition can be applied to both Kevin and Maxwell due to the fact that they have both faced many difficult obstacles with the qualities of a hero. However, if only one character from the book, Freak the Mighty were to be chosen and defined as the hero of the story, I believe that Kevin would best represent the title, hero.…

In the book Lord of the Flies the beast, at first was nothing more than a product of the boys’ imagination. The beastie is briefly mentioned by the boy with the mulberry birthmark in chapter two. He talks about the “snake-like thing”, and calls it a beastie. Majority of the boys agree that there is a beast and even claim that they saw it. One of the Littluns described their dream of their supposed encounter with the beast “I saw something moving among the trees, something big and horrid.”(5.91) The boys were daunted and intimidated by the idea of a beast existing on the island. Jack then influences the boys into hunting and killing the beast, which becomes a violent turning point in the book.On the other hand, Ralph and Piggy simply refuse to believe there is a beast. Later on, we get a real insight into the beastie. Piggy says the beast is just fear of the unknown "I know there isn't no beast—not with claws and all that, I mean—but I know there isn't no fear, either.”(5.90) Simon however had a different interpretation to what the beastie could be. He says that it is inside everyone and…
