Proposal for a Kaizen Gallery
We propose to set up a Kaizen Gallery in the ‘Performer of the Month’ Awards Room.
This Kaizen Gallery would showcase the company’s history, products, forging and machining facilities, core values as well as awards and accolades received by it.
This gallery would act as a visual walkthrough to the company’s past and present to the esteemed visitors who visit RKFL time to time.
The gallery would use up two wall-sides of the room.

Introduction about the company and the Chairman
History of the company
Ramkrishna Forgings was found on 12th November,
1981 by Mr. M.P. Jalan. He has been a driving force for the expansion and introduction of newer technologies in the company. Under his dynamic leadership, RKFL has emerged as a leading forging company, driven by modern technology and an innovative thought process.
A key growth driver to RKFL is its state-of-the-art, manufacturing facilities and international level of quality control backed by a team of skilled professionals.
The name continues to stand for trust and reliability.
Milestones
1981 – Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd (RKFL) was founded by Mr. M.P. Jalan.
1985 – Approved By Indian Railways as a Critical Safety item supplier for passenger coach application.
1994 – RKFL became a limited company.
1995 – RKFL became a supplier to Tata Motors, Jamshedpur.
2000 – Accredited as an ISO 9002 company.
2002 – Approved by Indian Defence for producing defence related parts.
2004 – RKFL became a listed company in NSE and BSE, launched IPO – Accredited as a TS 16949 Company.
2006 – Successful extension from forgings to machining.
2008 – Commencement of Ring Rolling Facility.
2009 – The company became TS 16949 certified.
2011 – RKFL received OSHAS and NABL accreditation.
