Justin De La Rosa Thesis
Who Is Justin De La Rosa?

I am Justin D Delarosa, I'm a 6’3, Mexican American, with a little Native American. I enjoy being with friends and making jokes. Some may say that i'm not special, but I would like to say that I am. I'd like to say that i'm a natural cook. Since I began cooking in 2009, I would usually make good food, though I made a few mishaps, there would usually always be good meals and desserts. Such as; Mexican food, cakes, cookies, lasagna, and many other dishes.

While growing up I didn't have many role models, my mother was always working, my father would work in minnesota, and my grandparents were always trying to pay bills and struggled to do so. When I was in 2nd grade I met a girl that became my best friend. Her name

I worked there 3 day of the week, I would check in and out books, movies, and work in the book store. I would also stock books and movies on the designated shelves. This taught me what an actual job may be like for me in the future.

For the first 2 years of Highschool I would sit in class and do nothing but wait for time to pass. I would argue with the teachers and even fight with other students. I would constantly get D’s or even straight F’s every quarter.

This year I am going to do my best to get ahead. I want to graduate as soon as possible. I am taking a “PM” class with Mrs. Parra doing consumer math for an elective credit/ I will also do my best to stay out of trouble and stay on task.

Some say that PPEP TEC is not that great of a school but I beg to differ, my cousin Cheyenne went here and graduated early so I thought it would be a great school but I’d rather go to Bisbee High because it's closer to where I live. I went to apply there but they said I didn't have the right paperwork because my dad had moved me to Bisbee a week beforehand. Since I could not apply there my next choice was to apply here at PPEP TEC and I don't regret going

Isabelle Rosado Cuevas was born on Harry Potter’s 22nd birthday, to Elizabeth Cuevas, a hard-working public school teacher at the time, and Ramón “Moncho” Rosado, an employee at el Fondo del Seguro del Estado. Even though she shares Potter’s birthday, she wasn’t born in England, but in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and hasn’t received her Hogwarts Acceptance Letter (yet.) She was raised in Bayamón too, around the countryside with fruit trees, mountains, and even a little river near her house. Rosado describes life there as calm and soothing, even though there is the occasional party around her neighborhood that disturbs the peace. She’s lived there her whole life with her family and dog, Hemi, which they rescued when he came out of nowhere with a limp in their neighborhood.…

As I got older and got into high school, things got really ugly my freshman year. Hanging out with the wrong crowd changed my whole perspective on school and how I should apply my knowledge to school work. I can honestly say that my highest grade was probably a C out of the whole year. The beginning of my life changing didn’t take place till my sophomore year when I met my older cousin who decided to be hard on me in school. Part of that was him keeping me into football and other sports he thought I would be good in. It wasn’t till junior year in high school where I really took football…

El Dorado was the name of a tribal chief of the Musica tribe. As an initiation rite, he covered himself in gold dust and dove into the Guatavita Lake. As the story got recounted and told from place to place, details got mixed up. This proved to be a huge problem when El Dorado, the tribal chief of the Musica tribe, became the legendary lost "City of Gold." Since it was called the city of gold, it was something so spectacular that everyone wanted a part of it, mainly for power. Because everyone imagined this "City of Gold" to be so fantastic, it later became a kingdom, an empire, and eventually the city of a legendary golden king.…

Senior high was a big struggle for me. Being inundated with new information at a rate that I have yet to acclimatise to, I was falling behind, lost in this rat race. I recalled feeling depressed often and my stress level was constantly high as I barely managed to scrape through the tutorials with minimal understanding. As more and more lectures and tutorials flew past, my doubts only snowballed. It came to a point whereby I was so overwhelmed by everything, I just broke down.…

My parents didn’t believe me, they thought that I was just making things up so I could miss school. I ended up getting mono and missing a month and a half of school. I feel so far behind that it was hard to even catch up, when I did get back to school finally I was going in on off hours and staying after to catch up on my work. The only teacher who wanted to help me was my math teacher. When I did ask for help my teacher told me that I was “stupid” in front of the whole class. I was embarrassed and felt like that shy little girl again who was afraid of the world and to talk to people. These teachers made me feel like I was worthless and that I wouldn’t go anywhere in life. That’s when I knew that I had to leave, if I didn’t I knew I would always seen in my brother’s shadow and not in my own light. Since I was little I have always been shy and never really spoke up or defended myself, but from that year in school I learned that it’s okay to defend yourself and I learned to speak up. I became someone who doesn’t let people walk all over her anymore and I became determined to prove everyone wrong about…

I asked to move to the front of the class and from then on I always stayed focused in class and took notes of important lessons being taught during class time. I had help from all of my teachers on the side and even stayed after class to ask questions about anything I didn’t quite understand. This was guiding me to the right path that I wanted to be on. I was learning more efficiently and using my time wisely. This was preparing me for the future and narrowed down my mind to focus on one thing, and one thing only; My education. I was becoming the student I have always wanted to be. Even my friends and family were taking notice in my changes. My teachers knew I needed to graduate high school and saw that I was not stopping at just getting the minimal passing grades. I was striving to receive the best grades I could possibly earn to prepare myself for…
