Justice or Murder
Imagine being isolated because of a blizzard, and being a store owner you need to get more supplies, but can’t. This is what was going on with Justin, general store owner, until he found the town’s only hope the town bully, Billy. Billy would do the job, but he would also “tax” them by taking their items. Justin was getting real tired of Billy’s “tax”. When Billy was found dead, it was murder by Justin.
First of all, Justin killed Billy by knowing there was something wrong with Billy’s eye sight. Justin figured out it Billy had bad eyesight when he said, “he wasn’t surprised that Buchanan won a second term.” Buchanan never had a second term. He could have figured it out earlier when Justin would ask him to pass razor blades; he would pass him the nails. And when Justin would ask for flour; he would pass him the sugar. Justin thought it was the alcohol doing to Billy, so he didn’t think much.
Besides the bad eyesight, Justin makes his own alcoholic beverage by mixing ethanol with various juices and they were popular in town. Billy would never deliver a full cask of ethanol Justin would order because Billy would drink some. This way Justin couldn’t make enough profit. So he ordered methanol knowing Billy would drink some. Methanol is used for fuel for vehicles and about 40% of methanol is converted to formaldehyde, and from there into products as diverse as plastics, plywood, paints, explosives, and permanent press textiles. Justin doesn’t need methanol for those things, since he is a general store owner. Justin knowing Billy wouldn’t know the difference between methanol and ethanol because Billy has bad eyesight and that ethanol and methanol are similar in color and appearance. Billy was unable to notice the difference and drank methanol, killing him.
At last, Justin murdered Billy. Justin knew Billy didn’t have proper eyesight, drank his ethanol so he couldn’t make a profit. Justin purposely ordered methanol instead of...
