Jupiter Transit in Cancer/ Guru Transit in Karka Rashi on June 19, 2014: Vedic Astrology Transits Jupiter in Cancer/ Guru in Karka Rashi-
Jupiter/ Gurū/ Guru moves to Cancer/ Karkaṭa Rāśi/ Karka Rashi on June 19, 2014 in the scheme of Vedic astrology/ Jyotiṣa/ Jyotisha transits/ Gochara, which is also its sign of exaltation, and will therefore alter the impact of its energies for the people of various Ascendants/ Lagnas, Moon Signs/ Cañdra Rāśi/ Chandra or Janma Rashi and Ārūḍha/ Arudha Lagna accordingly. Outer planets-
The outer or the slow moving planets are a significant, even overarching presence in any horoscope in Vedic astrology and their transits also represent considerable shifts in energies and Karma which influence us at every step.
Natural significations/ Naisargika Karakattwa-
In general evaluations the natural significations of the planet are most important since these are the attributes and domains which the planet governs and therefore areas where the shift gives telling results in life.
Jupiter is the Naisargika Kāraka/ Karaka/ Natural Significator for wisdom, knowledge, wealth, finance, all intellectual pursuits, high philosophy, physics, metaphysics, religion, esoteric arts, astrology, law, judiciary, lawyers, judges, teachers, priests, treasuries and treasurers etc.
At the individual level though no matter what the calling of the person or his nationality or race, Jupiter represents understanding, awareness and perspective. It denotes a process essentially phlegmatic which involves and culminates into elevation of thought and internal personality, morals and value system. It also governs preceptors and Gurūs/ Gurus.
Cancer/ Karkata Rashi-
Karkaṭa Rāśi/ Karka Rashi/ Cancer is in many ways a blessed sign being ruled by the benefic Moon and just as Moon denotes the mother in Vedic astrology, the sign of Cancer shows blessings of the Mother Goddess.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and attains its highest delight in this sign. The requirement of Cancer is purity which is achieved through one of the four directions of the intellect or the Dhī Śakti/ Dhi Shakti, namely purity or Śuddhi/ Shuddhi. Jupiter’s significations of the highest morality and value systems is attained in harmony with the core meaning of Cancer and this coalescing is most fortunate.
Cancer and the Moon also indicate healing and cure of all varieties and so through unconditional blessings of the all-giving Gurū/ Guru/ Jupiter purity and cure can be achieved in life either in the heart and home and/ or in any areas indicated in a given individual horoscope which is a matter of analysis and determination upon evaluation of many facets. The width of the impact can be gauged when I explain here that Jupiter can be highly relevant for say people in the otherwise seemingly unconnected entertainment industry where cerebral directors and script writers and others can be significantly impacted by the transit. There are method actors for instance who rely on deep preparation and knowledge of the characters they portray and so the transit of the planet can be quite significant for them.
This is therefore a time to set things right and especially if the Karma for any person should indicate that even otherwise a change for the better is in the offing.
North Indian Transit Chart-
The transit chart for the movement of Jupiter to its sign of exaltation is given below –
I have often said that the results of transits are magnified if the planet in question is also operating in the Mahādaśā/ Mahadasha/ Major Period in the Viṃśottarī Daśā/ Vimshottari Dasha scheme. And so if this be the case then one can expect the results to be more significantly experienced.
This is an auspicious transit and indicates success and fructification ceteris paribus.
Impact of Jupiter Transit on Various Lagna/ Ascendants-
For Karka/ Cancer the transit is in the sign of reference and therefore if the sign were...
