Jung Typology And DISC Personality Assessments
After taking the Jung Typology and DISC personality assessments, I have gained a clearer picture of my personal leadership style. Prior to completing these assessments, I had never known there were names for different types of personalities and what my type might be. The two assessments were different in their testing formats, as well as the structure of their results and analysis. However, after in-depth review of the reports, I was able to find several similarities between the two. The common patterns of behavior and leadership style are summarized below. The results of the assessments indicate that I am a “thinker”. This means I think through things carefully before taking action, and I don’t jump to conclusions. I don’t like to make a decision unless I have collected enough information. I consider the implications of actions as part of the decision-making process. …show more content…
I like to have rules and standards to go by, and I believe it is important for everyone to follow the rules. I work best in a structured environment.
I believe that these personality assessments have provided a fairly accurate description of me and my style. If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the DISC assessment as the one that most clearly portrays my true self. One of the benefits of reviewing these results is that they allow me to consider not only my current style, but also think about areas that I need to work on in the future as I move through college and into the workplace.
It is interesting for me to recall that on a field trip last spring to the Dave Ramsey Solutions headquarters, I noticed that every employee had their DISC results posted outside his/her office. The reason for this was so that co-workers who might not know each other well could use the DISC profile to learn a little more about each other. The goal was to improve teamwork effectiveness and

    I took a 72 question survey for my student success class. Humanmetrics: Jung Typology Test as it is referred to. The test consisted of vague to obvious questions to determine strengths I posses that will help me in my tenure obtain an education at Sinclair Community College and further more throughout life.     The type of personalities of every individual is very important. While doing an evaluation of myself using Jung Typology Test, I discovered that I was an ENFJ individual. My primary objective is identity seeking. My life consists of being a teacher or a giver.
