Mr. and Mrs. Das are arguing at the first rest stop about whose turn it is to take their daughter to the toilet. Mr. Das complains he bathed her the night before. Mrs. Das gets out of Mr. Kapasi 's car to take Tina. It is a Saturday in mid-July. Mr. Kapasi …show more content…

    Domaszewicz telephoned Ms. Williams at her sister’s home. Ms. Williams said that Mr. Domaszewicz was angry because of the conversation with Mr. Farr. His response was to the effect that it did not matter because he was going to have a shower (or give Jaidyn a shower) and then bring him back to Katie Leskie’s. During this conversation Ms. Williams said she heard her son’s voice on the phone. Evidently he said the word “dog” (at this time Jaidyn was able to say the words “Mum”, “Dad” and…

Using a system of two pegs, he sits on the log, hitting one peg with a hammer while the other holds the log open, then leaves the peg in the log and removes the other one previously idle to hit it with the hammer. When the carpenter leaves, the monkey decides to attempt the same job, sitting himself on the log. As he does this, his testicles rest in the split of the log. Not realizing exactly how the peg system works, the monkey removes the peg holding the log open, causing the log to close on his testicles. When the carpenter hears…
