COURSE OBJECTIVE:
This course will introduce student to the challenges and issues in International
Management, focusing on the similarities and differences between domestic and international management. This course will also discuss the current trend in international management issues and globalization. Since today’s business environment is shifting towards a borderless world, it is imperative that today’s managers are efficient in managing diversity in the workplace. Managers can no longer use a general management procedure and hope that it will fulfill the needs of every worker. Thus, knowing which management style works best for each and every occasion is important to ensure that the working environment remain conducive to enhance productivity.
LEARNING MODE:







Course instructor will lead the discussion during 7 video conference sessions and face to face session during the intensive week.
Students are required to do self learning on each topic as per attached schedule.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and seek understanding from the instructor during the video conference sessions and classes during the intensive week. Students are encouraged to fully utilize the facilities (forum, assignments, video conference notes, exercises & answers etc) provided through E-Learning Portal.
Students are encouraged to discuss among themselves.
Students are encouraged to interact with the instructor through email.
