On March 16, 1911, in the town of Günzburg, Germany (Source H), a man was born. This man would grow up to become the infamous Nazi “doctor” Josef Mengele. This man, performed horrific and painful experiments on twins, dwarfs, giants, and any other person with a physical deformity. His experiments were, however, aimed to further medical science. Josef Mengele performed a variety of terrible experiments. His most famous experiments are those on twins and dwarfs. To Mengele, twins were the perfect test subject. This was because one could endure his tests, and the other could be his control, meaning that they would be the one he compared his test results to.
