Other people are so different that no one knows how they even get along. Jonathon and Trevor are best friends, but the two found out living together was more difficult than what they thought. They are different in many ways from religion to sports and their definition of fun.
The two are best friends, but at the same time they are very different. They are different in religions. The difference is that Jonathon is a Catholic and Trevor is an Atheist. Their beliefs and lifestyles are completely opposite. Jonathon grew up in a strict Catholic family and went to church every Saturday and Sunday. He did not have any siblings to look up to during his childhood years. He lived in a low class neighborhood. He participated in extracurricular activities and made good grades in school. Trevor came from a relaxed, rich family, but his parents always taught him about how to have good morals and a caring heart. He had the freedom to choose his own path. The religions may be different, but they share the same idea of being a good man.

One strives to find an individual to be able to connect on an intellectual and emotional level. The prime definition of a friend, defined by Google is, “a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.” Despite there being a concrete definition, friendship has no terminology because everyone’s view on it is distinct and miscellaneous. The pure definition of friendship is defined on one’s own notion. In The Things They Carried, Rat Kiley and Curt Lemon had a bona fide friendship that was equivalent to no other friendship. Mark Fossie and Mary Anne Bell also had a friendship that was beyond than just a friendship. Both relationships were so complementary but yet contradicted each other sufficiently.…

In the Fall of 2010, I watched my first televised football game from beginning to end. I sat down beside my older brother, Nick, and watched him as he analyzed every play of a Green Bay Packers game. He would scream at the tv when a bad play happened but would rejoice when a good one followed. I wanted to be just like him and know everything about football. I watched every game that season and annoyingly asked Nick every question that came to mind throughout the year. On February 6th, 2011 the Green Bay Packers won their 4th Superbowl title and I knew football like the back of my hand. After the game my brother said to me, “There’s no way you could ever not be a Packers fan now. You’re their good luck charm.” as I nodded, smiling ear to ear.…
