This certainly didn’t seem fair, and it was at this point that Johnny started to regret having skipped out on that lecture about the Constitution his teacher had given. There was probably some good stuff in there that could help him out. And he really was not a fan of the color orange, especially after the first 3 years.
Unexpectedly, one day Johnny was hauled by his jailors into the court room and put on the witness stand. He was being tried for walking without a permit and was forced to give testimony about that sunny Tuesday afternoon ten years ago. Office MacMoron was there as well, and after the Officer’s testimony, Judge Cruelio sentenced Johnny to 10 more years of hard labor. That seemed a pretty stiff sentence, Johnny thought, but the Judge must know what’s fair.
The next ten years went by cruelly and unusually, but once his time was served Johnny was released. He was 20 years older and NoRightsville looked a little older, but not much different. Ironically it was a sunny Tuesday afternoon, so Johnny decided he’d go for a walk. He passed by a sign stating “Vote President Simmons November 4th.
