To truly understand John F. Kennedy you first have to know him, he was one of the youngest Presidents ever.He was born in Brookline Massachusetts 1917.He had two siblings, he was the youngest out of all of them. His father was Joseph P.Kennedy and his mother was Rose kennedy. He was in the nave and got injured so he went to school.The schools he attended where Harvard,also Riverdale Country school in Riverdale New York. He then started running for president.He then won as president. He died at the age of 47 november 22,1963,he was assassinated and was and still is the youngest presidents ever to get assassinated.

    John Fitzgerald Kennedy was an American politician and World War 2 veteran. He later served as the youngest elected president of the United States from January 1961 to November 1963. The reason for his short term was his assassination in Dallas Texas, on November 22nd, 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald was on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository when he shot and killed the 35th president of the United States during the 1963 motorcade. There were several things that could have help prevented this tragedy from happening. Before the motorcade began, John verbally told his secret service men to “back off.” His agents gave him more space then he should have had in the first place. Kennedy had a love for cars, so riding with the top down was a must for him. If he had not been riding with the top down, he wouldn't have been such an easy target. Lastly, the motorcade route was changed at the last minute. He was supposed to go through Main Street and onto the Stemmons Freeway but at the last minute was changed to turn onto Houston Street, then Elm Street. If Kennedy had allowed his Secret Service man to assist him, did not ride with the top down, and stuck with the original motorcade route, Kennedy's assassination could have been prevented.…

    On November 22, 1963, when he was hardly past his first thousand days in office, John F. Kennedy was killed by an assassin's bullets as his car wound through Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was the youngest man elected President; he was the youngest to die. Of Irish descent, he was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on May 29, 1917. Graduating from Harvard in 1940, he entered the Navy. In 1943, when his PT boat was rammed and sunk by a Japanese destroyer, Kennedy, despite grave injuries, led the survivors through perilous waters to safety. Back from the war, he became a Democratic Congressman from the Boston area, advancing in 1953 to the Senate. He married Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12, 1953. In 1955, while recuperating from a military operation, he wrote Profiles in Courage, which won the Pulitzer Prize in history. In 1956 Kennedy almost gained the Democratic nomination for Vice President, and four years later was a first-ballot nominee for President. Millions watched his television debates with the Republican candidate, Richard M. Nixon. Winning by a narrow margin in the popular vote, Kennedy became the first Roman Catholic President. His Inaugural Address offered the memorable quote: "Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." As President, he set out to redeem his campaign pledge to get America moving again. His economic programs launched the country on its longest sustained expansion since World War II; before his death, he laid plans for a massive assault on persisting pockets of privation and poverty. Responding to ever more urgent demands, he took vigorous action in the cause of equal rights, calling for new civil rights legislation. His vision of America extended to the quality of the national culture and the central role of the arts in a vital society.
