Asian films are microcosm of the Asian people. Basically, it focuses on four aspect including gender roles, paradoxical belief system, inherent pathos of life and the message in the film. With the close reference to Jogho film, we will discuss further on the above aspect. In Asian culture, roles and responsibilities are different for each gender. We can clearly see that even though Mak Minah already told Pok Mat to stop gambling because they have no money left, Pok Mat suddenly get angry toward Mak Minah by saying that Mak Minah is not being supportive and do not have trust towards him. Pok Mat did not listen to what Mak Minah said and still continue with the bullfight’s gambling.
