Jobs and Lifestyles
All people have their own jobs and lifestyles. Some of them are workmen, a lot of people work as clerks, others are directors and managers. Some jobs require great effort from us like working in a mine or on the oil platform. Many people, who work as, for example, tour guides or managers have to go abroad and visit many different places all the time. A lot of people don't have enough time for their families because they devote it to their work.

Nowadays many people suffer from stress. It also is a result of being tired all the time. People often overestimate their strength and work too hard and too long. They have too little time for their families, for a rest and meeting friends. They often don't go to theatres and cinemas, they spend all their free time at home. Some people aren't glad of their jobs. They complain that their jobs don't give them satisfaction and they are too boring. I think it's often a result of choosing the job for money - the young always want to earn much money and they often think that working is only making money. But in fact it isn't so - if you want to be happy - your job also should give you satisfaction and pleasure.

I think that in the future I will have a job connected with computers. I think it is very interesting and I have already talked with some people who work as computer experts. I want to work in telecommunication company the most - there are many vacancies in this field of economy and I think that working there, I could earn enough money. Besides I think that computer science develops very fast and in my job I would like to have many changes all the time - a person who does this job knows new technologies, goes to many different training courses and solves many different problems - I think it is a very ambitious job. I would never like to work as a workman - I think that kind of job often causes health problems and it wouldn't give me real satisfaction.

I also want to have a job connected with travelling. I think it is very interesting when you travel to other countries, visit many interesting cities, places, know a lot of foreigners. If I had a chance to go to the USA or England for a couple of months to work there -I would agree. Many young people in Poland take advantage of such jobs - they go abroad for a couple of weeks or months and earn money and after that they go somewhere to rest. Thanks to it they don't have to ask their parents for money, they learn to be independent and solve many problems that they will have in their adult lives.

Summing up, I think that many young people dream about their future life, job which they will have but they should realize that occupation ought to give them not only money. In my opinion work gives us satisfaction if we like our jobs, if we earn enough money and if we have enough free time. I also think that what we will do in the future depends on our education - if we have good results and if we study at a good university - we will have a better chance to find a good and well-paid job than someone, who isn't qualified enough. In my opinion our future lifestyle depends on what we will choose in the future: career, money or family.

“Leaders Eat Last” by Simon Sinek explains why most people hate their jobs and why some people simply love their jobs. Job satisfaction is rooted in the environment that the leader establishes. The leader can be the CEO, an executive, manager or team leader. What’s important is that a good leader isn’t concerned with his title and importance, he is focused on making a workplace environment in which the employee feels safe and feels he or she belongs. It’s a Circle of Safety in which employees grow, learn and become real assets to the…

There are many different opinions about the relation between “happiness and work.” Some people think that when they are more successful in their job, they will be happier. So they try to work harder, impose order on their job, and try to achieve some goals to become happier as the opinion of Alain de Botton in his speech named “Finding meaning in the daily grind.” However, I am in the group of people who think that if I am happy, and having positive thinking, I can do my job better, more successful. I strongly agree with Shawn Achor’s opinion which shows in the video named “The happy secret to better work.”…

An example of this is a person making plans to hang out with their friends but end up cancelling due to him or her having to go to work. Furthermore , these actions can cause illness in an individual and can add to a lifestyle that is both destructive and corrupt.…

When making a living, people tend to focus on having a career, money, and enjoyment. People tend to settle for what they get handed and do not follow their dream career. Even though they might despite their job and not have a single interest in it, it does not matter as long as they have money to get by. For example, if a person gets the opportunity to work as a nurse at a school they will most likely accept the offer even though they do not like to be around children. They know that career will give them enough money to get by. They will rather settle for less and hate going to their workplace each day rather than working harder and putting more effort to work as a nurse at a private office where they will not deal with children. When it comes to money people seem to want the most they can have, but when someone is settling for less they will not have as much as they desire. They will have enough to pay their bills and buy things here and there but not everything they may want and need. People get too focused on making a living to try to get by that they forget to enjoy themselves, especially if they do not have money to waste. If a person enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures, they most definitely will not be doing that since they do not have a career they like and especially since they only have enough money to get by. All the accumulation of not having money and hating their career can become stressful to someone and enjoying themselves is that last thing on their mind.…
