Jesus Rhetorical Analysis

The primary message in this passage is that we love everyone. Jesus reiterates the main idea of following in his footsteps by loving each and every person. We are suppose to take the salient point of loving one another into our own hands and permeating it throughout the world. I believe is what Jesus is trying to say in the following passage. In the passage it states, I give you a new commandment:love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.”(John 13:34). This verse tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to proliferate love everywhere there is hate.
Furthermore, this passage elucidates Jesus Teaching on morality and ethics because it is a about love. Jesus wants us to love everyone and everything. By showing love and compassion for others, we are setting a stellar example for our Church community. In our faith, we must seek to reconcile with those we might not like, and show love and forgiveness. Love means so much in the world we live in. In my opinion, I think that Jesus is teaching us that we must love in order to fulfill the words he speaks. In my opinion, I think this passage relates to the Sacrament of the Eucharist because it talks about God’s love unending love for us. The Sacrament of the Eucharist binds the love between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the passage it states, “When he had left, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.”(John 13:31). It talks about the communion between the Son of Man and God, in which they unify to display to us his unconditional love and care for us. In addition, the Sacrament of the Eucharist relates to this passage because, this sacrament talks about Jesus’ interminable love for us through his “new
