Jenny Monologue
“Yay”, I screamed after hearing that we were going to church. “I can’t wait to play with my fwend Jenny”. Imagining her graceful brown hair dancing in the wind. Her divine brown eyes reflecting my spoilt face like a mirror, her smile so bright it beats the giant bright ball in the sky. I put on my raspy brown plaid shirt that had race cars spotted all over the back and front. My diminutive khaki pants and went running into the living room where my dad carried me and brought me to the depressing, ten-year-old black car. He buckled me in my car seat brought my water cup and placed it in the cup holder. My dad started the car and we went driving towards my demise My gullet started to itch so I sipped some water, but then …show more content…
After all, their warm welcome my parents and I entered the chapel. I like a pirate searching through the sea of black swarming hair and past all the straight blond hair Islands found my golden despondency when learning that my true treasure wasn’t here. ”Are you looking for Jenny” a two-eyed Cyclopes approached. “How did you know?” I asked with fear thinking he was the witch who enchanted the water to kill me. “I always see you sitting on her lap during service”. “She had to stay home because she has the flu”. “Who is this monster and how does she know where my fwend Jenny lives?”. “And if you’re wondering no, I’m not a monster and me ‘me Jenny’s brother”. “I don’t believe you”. I alleged with courage trying not to show fear towards my enemy. “She stayed home because she had the flu”. “I knew it, he cursed her and now she has to be with this person called flu. Eww, that’s an ugly name.” - I tuft to myself. “And if you still don’t believe that I’m just a human just like you just ask your parents if you can sit with and I’ll prove it to you”. So my “courageous” self-asked my parent hoping to get “Sure”-They responded. “Are you sure I mean what if he kills me. He’s ….” “ He’s a nice guy. Go now it’s about to start”. Every minute passed so hardly until he cast a curse on me ( or I believed ) and started telling me jokes and made me like him like my best friend.Until all the singing stopped and the …show more content…
My stubby teeth trying to at least crack that mint of eradication. So in my brilliant mind, I of all choices swallowed the future path of destruction. “ I never really fuller House.” “ What fuller house is a masterpiece!” everyone is distracted or listening to the preaching. “ Eww, this taste like bubblegum…..” the familiar occultist that enchanted my water had enchanted the mint. The exact feeling was processing, so in my panicking mind I was remembering my car trip and realized what saved me was a speed bump. “Great, so it'll just save me again.” No one realizing my face pouring colors not even the human eye can comprehend. Waiting for the speed bump now realizing that wistfully it won’t come and by the time I try to yelp for help I'll already have a halo on my head. So I accepting the reality a picture of people I care about including my double sided best friend. Everything getting blurry and people finally noticing me but was already too late.My cold body falling on the cracked tile. Cold tears rolling down my neck. I started to see white. Everything turned upside down and felt a tenacious hit on my back. The force so strong it shook all my bones. The pearl gates were opening until an interrupting fiery ball went up to my diminutive esophagus. I started to see my mom her curly bright blond hair with streams of tears and her eyes blonde like a red balloon. Her eyes dilated when she saw my paltry eyes open and

I closed my eyes and as I opened them I was looking straight at my mother. That instant our eyes were locked I never wanted the lock to break. Another tear slipped down, and I could taste the salty warmth on my tongue. The crash took five seconds but it felt like ten years. This time I heard the words “I’m wrong mom. I’m sorry mom.” In an instant the noise grew so loud it seemed like I was standing in the middle of a nuclear bomb. Not a second later it was silent and the world around me went pitch…

After reading “The Predicament” it is obvious that jenny is definitely the most culpable person involved in the entire episode, and number one on my list. Without her making the choice to use the purchased paper nothing could have come of the entire situation. Also, the idea that, “she was too exhausted at the end of the day to complete her course work” is not only a farce, but simply an excuse. If you are truly set on achieving being tired is not going to get in your way. Her continued sloth and mishandling of the situation resulted in a very negative outcome. She should have been filling that free time she had to complain with course work.…

I looked over my shoulder to see if my uncle or aunt were there but I noticed my grandfather leaning against the wall with his cane, next to a picture of his hometown. He looked up at me and winked. I stood in front of him in shock because he had barely spoken to me during the times I stayed with him. I needed someone to translate my grandfather’s Creole for me so I woke up my uncle and hold on tight Jennifer, don’t give up he said. Numerous tasteless portraits pinned the paisley wall, their deadpan figures glared at me, waiting, patiently waiting. Shockingly, the smell of newly lacquered wood filled the foyer, as if the abandoned house was still attended to, perhaps by the wind (or by something else). Suddenly, a cloying voice of a child audibly whispers. “Finally…” “Have you come to playing?”…
