The Life of Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer was a well known serial killer, sex offender and cannibal from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Dahmer killed up to 17 males from 1978 to 1991. Dahmer was seen as a normal child until after his childhood surgery. In this research paper I will continue to inform you about Jeffrey Dahmer’s early life, legacy and his death. May 21, 1960 in West Allis Wisconsin Jeffrey dahmer, a soon to be serial killer was born. Dahmer was a normal fun loving child but had to undergo surgery at a very young age to fix his double hernia. After the surgery it was noticed that young Dahmer’s behavior and way of acting had drastically changed. Young Dahmer was no longer the social upbeat child he used to be, he then became withdrawn and friendless. At the age of 14 Dahmer started to have thoughts of necrophilia and murder and would sometimes kill small animals he’d find around the neighborhood. Other than killing small animals Dahmer never truly acted on his thoughts until, the harsh divorce of his parents. After a few years later Dahmer turned his thoughts to …show more content…
Once dead Dahmer would partake in sexual acts with the corpse of the bodies. Dahmer would photograph his victims and his process throughout the murder to later recollect. As Dahmer's killing spree continued he started to experiment with different methods of disposing of the bodies. Dahmer experimented with chemicals, when the chemicals didn’t work as he wanted them too he started to consume the flesh of the bodies. The characteristics of Jeffrey Dahmer's killing have been classified as rape, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism. One of the people Dahmer had abducted got away and was wondering the streets looking for help.
