Japhy Chapter 2 Analysis

In chapter two Ray has a flashback mentioning that so far he has met two dharma bums the man he met before which he had offered food to and his newly made friend Japhy who is in his perspective the most dharma bum like. Ray also mentions that japhy was the one who coined the term dharma bum. After the brief introduction of Japhy, the narrator Ray goes on to describe Japhy’s looks and he also goes on to explain a bit of japhy back story and his knowledge. Ray later goes to a bar where there are many poets which all had different styles of writing the narrator was amused and he particularly likes Japhy’s style of writing
