is a 1986 horror novel by American author Stephen King. The story follows the exploits of seven children as they are terrorized by an eponymous being, which exploits the fears and phobias of its victims in order to disguise itself while hunting its prey. "It" primarily appears in the form of a clown in order to attract its preferred prey of young children wikepideia many people don't believe in fairytale but sometimes your biggest fear can become true even at a young he or an adult age because of your behavior or attitude or your morals this story shows friendship ,trust ,and many diffrent ways on how to know and behave Holy crap this book was scary. I've always been a fan of horror novels, but very few have ever actually scared me. This book did the trick.

It's the story of a group of friends who as children did a very, very brave and noble thing. A supernatural force lives under their hometown of Derry, Maine. This force hibernates in thirty year cycles and comes to the surface to feast upon its prey - human children. It thrives on their fear as well as their flesh, and typically disguises itself as the demonic clown known as Pennywise. The children defeat the horror, but fail to kill it. They vow that should it rear its head again later in their lives, they will come back and finish what they started. They grow up, leave Derry, get lives, marry, pursue goals, but one day, It returns, and the friends are united again to destroy the eldritch force of evil beneath Derry.

The story has an amazing cast of characters. The plot is well threaded and the premise alone is fantastic. It's a long read, but well worth it. Anyone who wants a good scare should pick up this book and give it a

To begin, Pennywise the clown, also known as “IT,” is the antagonist of the novel. He preys on the children of Derry every three decades, dwelling in the sewers he brings childhood nightmares to life. What makes “IT” so horrifying is how the violence and slaughtering is brought to the youth of the town. Preying on young children sparks the protective nature of anyone and reminds everyone that no one is safe. There are many reasons that Pennywise’s target is children; children tend to make up wild stories that no adults could believe, they are smaller and weaker than most adults, they are far more naive, but most importantly, they have something that most adults…

11/22/63 by Stephen King is a very compelling book that does a great job depicting the late 1950’s and early 1960’s in American history. Jake Epping is a 35-year-old English teacher in Libson Falls, Maine. He receives an essay from a student named Harry Dunning that explains the night that changed his life. This was the night that his father killed his mother, his brother, and his sister with a hammer, and he was fortunate enough to walk away with only a shattered leg, as evidenced by his limp. When Al, the owner of a local diner, shows Jake a time portal in his storeroom, Jake sees it as not only an opportunity to save Harry’s family, but to grant Al’s wishes and save President Kennedy. Because each time is a reset, there is not much risk…

Lawrence was born in England, in 1885. In his adolescent years he worked at a factory, until he fell ill with tuberculosis. At the age of 23, Lawrence had aquired a teaching degree, and published his first story. He married in 1914, travelled and lived in various states and countries, then settled in the south of France. Just before his death from tuberculosis in 1930, he penned the poem "Shadows". This poem gives readers a look into the undying faith he had in God, how he used that faith to accept his impending death, and his belief in the new life that awaited him. Lawrence tells us he is ready to die at this exact moment, knowing there will be peace, tranquility, and contentment from the pressures of life. He will no longer have to deal with the pain and anguish that came with his illness. Because God has given him a taste of rebirth and everlasting peace, Lawrence knows that his mortal life will be replaced with immortal bliss.…
