In Trenton New Jersey, a 40 year old man named Genesis Torres experienced one of the most common issues in the law enforcement. On October 27th, 2017 he got arrested during a drug transaction with another man. The Police Officers said “They were trying to save themselves.”. Torres suffered from concussion, broken bones, and a head injury. Everywhere there is problems with police brutality, anti-terrorism.
In police work there is many many issues that are everywhere. Every police force has their own struggles and some may struggle more in certain areas than others. According to PoliceOne.com in 2016 the first issue is Anti-terrorism. Anti-terrorism means to rid the terrorists from the region. This paper is overall about police work and the different ideas people have. Current issues in police work will be discussed. …show more content…
The question they have “is to chase or not to chase?”. Also they wonder what the suspect is wanted for, and if it is worth it to chase them down. Such as if the person has a parking ticket and they are a cause of a foot pursuit, the police officer might either wait until the suspect is tired, chase them down, or get backup. If the suspect is on the run because they got caught with drug abuse or murder a police officer will chase them down and call backup, they will have their weapons ready to protect them and the citizens of the
