Israel
Israel should be the land for the Palestinians despite the fact that it was the promise land for the Israelis. The Palestinians have set their communities and home and made their own nation on the land of Israel, therefore, it is not fair that the Israelis force the Palestinians off the land. Palestinians today are persecuted by the Israelis and have their homes on Israeli soil destroyed and land taken by the Israelis. Israel has no right to violate human rights, including maltreating the Palestinians. The land of Israel should belong to the Palestinians. The Palestinians have set their land and built homes before Israel's creation in 1948. In inclusion to that, the Israelis were not present in Israel up to that time. The claim of land and forcing of Palestinian’s to live be unjust and unethical. The forcing of Palestinian’s off the land leads up to insurgent movements like HAMAS and creates more unnecessary violence than needed. Israelis should not have a claim to Israel due to acts of violence and violation of human rights against the Palestinians.
Today Palestinians are persecuted by Israelis and whatever Israeli does to the Palestinians causes more destruction to the Palestinians. Palestinian civilians during conflict suffer a much higher casualty rate than Israelis due to Israel's modern military might. It is unjust that Israel should kill high amounts of Palestinian civilians in order to maintain control of Palestine. It is estimated that 27,000 palestinian homes are demolished as opposed to 0 israeli homes being demolished. In inclusion to the demolition of Palestinian homes, there are 260 Israeli exclusive settlements and illegal camps in former Palestinian lands rather than 0 Palestinian-exclusive settlements and illegal camps. This comes to show that Israel has a double standard for controlling land.
Palestinians should have the right to Israel, because Israel tries to break the will of Palestinian resistance by inflicting heavy damage. Examples of

When you contextualize the issue, it’s evident that the Palestinians do have some validity to their grievances. One issue at hand is that the land Israel now occupies was once considered Palestine. The two civilizations used to coexist. It wasn’t until the mass influx of Jewish people following World War II when the battles over the region truly began. Following WWII, the Jewish Israeli settlers were given part of Palestine as a result of the persecutions to the people. It was done so by the United Nations on May 14th, 1948 in the following declaration. “By virtue of our national and intrinsic right and the strength of the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, we hereby declare the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, which shall be known as the State of Israel” (Siegel). It was a reasonable solution--a two-state territory.…

Israelis and Palestinians conflict will continue indefinitely until they forgive each other in order to move forward in peace. The primary approach to solving the conflict today is a "two-state solution" that would establish Palestine as an independent state in Gaza and most of the West Bank, leaving the rest of the land to Israel. Though the two-state plan is clear in theory, the two sides are still deeply divided over how to make it work in practice. The alternative to a two-state solution is a "one-state solution," wherein all of the land becomes either one big Israel or one big Palestine. Most observers think this would cause more problems than it would solve, but this outcome is becoming more likely over time for political and demographic reasons.…

On the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Palestinian land has been increasingly taken over by Israel for years. An extremist Jewish group called the Zionists, emerged in the late 1800s , seeking to find a homeland for the Jews, and searching in both Africa and the Americas before finally settling on Palestine. This did not appear as a problem or threat at first but as many more Zionists immigrated to Palestine with the intention of taking over the land to create a Jewish state, fighting broke out with the Palestinians, increasingly surging with Hitler’s rise to power during World War I. To this day, Palestinians have very minimal control of what mere land they have left, especially with Israel’s military forces using extremely oppressive methods.…

In 1948, the British invaded what was then Palestine. The territory had been recognized as Palestine since the end of World War I. The invasion of the land led to the 1948 Palestine War. As a result of the war, the United Nations proposed a plan to divide the land between the Arabs, the Jewish population, and a shared territory in what is today Jerusalem. While the Jewish Agency for Palestine, an organization interested in Jewish settlement in Palestine, accepted the proposal, Palestinian Arabs refused it. This was the state of affairs for Palestine as it transitioned into becoming what is now the Jewish state of Israel. Part of the agreement was that Palestine would continue to exist within…

Palestine, or is it Israel? Either way, it is a highly contested land between two major Semitic groups: the Arabs, and the Hebrews. From the late 19th century, and throughout the 20th century it has been the focal point of Arab nationalism and Jewish Zionism. Today, it has become the Jewish state of Israel with occupied Palestinian Territories called the West Bank, which lies on the West side of the Jordan River, and the Gaza Strip, which borders Israel and Egypt. But, should the Palestinians deserve a state of their own? This essay will investigate the Palestinian side of the argument, their Biblical and Quranic ties to the land, the State of Palestine should have been created under Jordanian Egyptian as well as Israeli occupation of the land, and finally Israel’s poor relations with Palestine and colonial occupation of the land has led to the formation of many radical groups.…

The waning pages of the first chapter moreover, are devoted to discrediting attempts to compare Palestinians and Israelis on an even keel. The reader is presented with factual evidence that makes the case that the yishuv, because of external backing from Zionists and the British, held a comparative advantage over Palestinians. Subsequently, Palestinians whom by and large resided in sporadic settlements, developed weaker and less cohesive military and economic structures then their nascent…

The Palestinians were defeated and depopulated by the overpowered Israeli force. This sparked the beginning of a greater Israel-Palestine conflict that will forever last for years to come. In 2013 75 percent of the Israeli population is Jewish 21percent are Arabs. There are hundreds of Palestinian refugee camps spread across the Middle East. The Israeli government refers to Palestinian populated territories as “Occupied Territories” rather than accepting them as a real country. Several borders, barriers, and restrictions have been implemented by the Israeli government. Palestinian terrorist groups have formed and commit attacks on innocent Israeli citizens on a monthly basis. While both groups believe they are justified in committing the actions which they commit, the peace process seems to be irreparable despite encounters with the United Nations. Due to extreme uses of terrorism, territorial interests in Jerusalem, and controversial opinions on…

To further conflict, Israel constructed the Israeli West Bank barrier, separating Israeli territory from Palestinian territory. The Israeli West Bank barrier has been internationally condemned as a ruthless tactic to simply keep families apart. This is the captivity that news outlets such as Cable News Network, Fox News, and CBS News choose not to report on. After spending almost half of a year in Palestine (over a few summer breaks), I myself have experienced the deprivation and heartbreak that the Palestinians experience daily; my motivation to express the captivity Palestinians endure stems solely from my personal observations while traveling through the holy land during the summer after the eighth grade. The elongated list of conflicts instantaneously symbolizes that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will most likely linger on the foreseeable future, but I am here to elucidate the hidden captivity that the Palestinian community experiences…

You may say that the Jews were there before anyone else so they deserve to reclaim their historical homeland. However, Palestinians have a broader historical perspective. They know that even before prophet Abraham, Palestine was ruled at various times by the Babylonians , the Phoenicians, the Canaanites, the Philistines, the Assyrians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, and the Romans, who left their cultural and genetic marks on Palestine. To the Palestinians, Palestine never belonged to one single race, but since they can speak the Arabic language, the Holy Land is theirs,…
