Isiah 41:10

The Confirmation passage I chose is Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This verse is very comforting to me. It tells me that my Savior will be with me through thick and thin, good times and bad times, and in every chapter of my life. It tells me that He loves me more that I can ever, ever imagine. Jesus died and rose again for me. Although I may not know what He has in store for me in heaven, I know that it’s unimaginably great. Isaiah 41:10 is reassuring and encouraging to me, and I hope it is to you too.

Confirmation is important because I am publicly testifying to my faith in God and His Word, and publicly confirming before everyone what God did for me in my heart at my Baptism. He made me his child, freely and unconditionally. Confirmation means that I am becoming a mature Christian and take God and all He says seriously. And finally, Confirmation means I can take on more responsibilities to help our church and serve others.

In MAC Track ( ministry as a career),I Liked learning about the countless things Christ has done for me. I also loved talking about Creation versus Evolution. It is a big issue in today’s world, and it is crucial to be able to back up our belief in Creation with facts and confidence. Also in MAC track, I was reminded of the truth that God’s Word is true. And so because of this, it’s also important to read the Bible and become familiar with stories and passages. It’s valuable to have the Bible to look back on for reassurance in life.
