Is3350 Unit 3 Assignment
Based off my MWA three assignment, I realize that I do have some areas in my research skills, writing, group work, and from making decisions I need to improve on. First, I can improve in my archival research by becoming familiar with the CSU Archives and the information I can receive from them. For example, I never experienced researching on someone or something using newsletters and newspapers. When I had to use these resources to research, it was very difficult for me to transition into gathering information from that source. The more I became familiar with the resources, I was able to adapt and gather the information. Now that I experienced this, I can begin to use the archival research techniques to research on someone or something else in the future. …show more content…
As a result, the more I am open to research and trying new things pertaining to research, the more I can begin to discover new and exciting things. Third, I can improve in my contribution to the creation of the group handout by making sure everyone in the group fully understand the role they play. For instance, there can be many reasons why some of my group members did not contribute to the handout, but if I do not inform them on their role and make sure they understand the part they play in contributing to the handout, then I cannot get mad at them for not contributing to the handout because we were a group. As a result, the handout could have been better if everyone contributed and knew their role. Fourth, I can improve in teaching others about my assigned person by making more eye contact with people and teaching others in new ways to allow them to be more engaged. For example, when I taught about my assigned person to other people my eyes wondered all over the place and it was very few times I gazed at them in their eyes. In addition, I taught about who my person was in a normal

Law assumption does indeed tie into how society functions and vice versa. The basic assumption that law is imbedded in society (Barkan 2009). I agree with this belief. Laws and society affect each other more than people tend to realize, there are a multitude of events that have occurred within our society in America that have forever changed how we operate within our country and how we operate outside of our country. As societies evolve so do the laws within those societies. Every event that occurs within that society will indeed have an affect on its local laws and rules established. For instance, after hurricane Katrina; the local citizens of New Orleans were trapped in the dome with no assistance from FEMA or any other agency. A nation was watching as those who had nothing had to pillage and plunder in order to survive. However, laws did in fact change. This event in society brought forth The Gulf Opportunity Zone Act of 2005. This act was created to give tax breaks to those people who had suffered casualties or theft during the hurricane.…

It could easily be proven with the right set of data presented in the right light that the Global recession is causing people in the workplace to cause problems at an increased rate, and in a worst case scenario, go ‘Postal’ on other employees. This case study does not prove that a recession either impacts or does not impact misbehavior in the work environment, but it does make a strong point that due to the volume of reporting available in the media people might think that it does. The problem with the reporting available to the masses is that it is generally bias toward chaos because the real facts make for “a less sexy headline” (Robbins and Judge, 2011). In addition, many of the reports are press releases from companies who specialize in products designed to prevent such behavior from having an impact on organizations (Robbins and Judge, 2011). Companies like Symantec or MacAfee would profit greatly from widespread hysteria from business owners and decision makers in the Information Technology sector who might fall under the guise that their information was suddenly not safe, or better yet, that because of the poor economic conditions that they must beef up their security systems to prevent theft of intellectual property or other sensitive information by the hands of disgruntled employees.…

What exactly is SDLC? SDLC stands for Software Development Life Cycle. SDLC is a series of phases that provide model for the development and lifecycle management of an application and/or software. Within SDLC, security should also be considered. How is the application going to be secured? Are we using these phases to the best of our knowledge and incorporating as much security as possible? There are six phases within SDLC. They are Systems analysis, design, implementation, testing, acceptance and deployment, and maintenance. There are four ways to secure SDLC. They are Governance, Construction, Verification, and Deployment. Within each way to secure SDLC, Governance there is strategy and metrics, policy and compliance, education and guidance, threat assessment, security requirements, security architecture, design review, code review, security testing, vulnerability management, hardening environments, and operations.…
